I want to share a simple and profoundly effective way to detoxify your liver. We all have toxins in our livers, just by living on a polluted planet. This is a powerful liver flush and there are some contraindications for the flush...namely don't do it if you have cancer. Eating a raw, vegan and sugar-free diet is essential if you have cancer. But for the liver flush, anyone can experience benefits.
First, you want to start after you have been eating mostly raw and vegan for at least 1 week (2 is better). This gets your body prepared for the detox.
So here are the steps:
Day 1: Three times per day, drink 1 glass of flax water (made with 1/5 cup of flaxseed and 4/5 cup of pure water, set aside at room temp for 24 hours). 15 minutes after drinking flax water, eat 2 cloves of garlic and one apple (make thin slices and eat the garlic between 2 slices of apple, like a sandwich).Day 2: Follow the same routine as Day 1, except increase garlic to 3 cloves (3 times per day).
Day 3: Follow the same routine as Day 1, except increase garlic to 4 cloves (3 times per day).
* Just before going to bed at night, drink 4 ounces of olive oil (organic, cold-pressed). Follow this with a lemon or a few slices of grapefruit.
Day 4: Repeat exactly the same procedure as Day 3.
Day 5: This concludes the fast, but eat a very light lunch and dinner, as you are breaking your fast. Also, very important to schedule a colonic session for this day. A colonic increases the effectiveness of the process.
You should be treating each meal as a meditation and prayer. Have as few distractions as possible during meal time and have positive thoughts while eating. Be grateful to your body for cleansing. You will probably pass gallstones, which is why you drink the oil - to soften them. And that is also why you want to do the colonic after fasting, to flush out the gallstones.
This was the most effective thing I have ever done, not just to cleanse my liver and gallbladder, but also my emotions, thoughts and spirit. I wasn't really hungry, either. You are still eating 3 times per day and it is enough to feel full. Also, drink at least half of your body weight in ounces of water per day (example: if you weight 160 lbs., drink at least 80 oz of water per day).
